Creative Confusion

Creative Confusion (Sutton, 2020) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly, pattern-forward blooms. Reaching 31" (79 cm) and blooming midseason to late, this cultivar features luminous white standards with a delicate pale pink flush along the midrib and pristine white style arms. The falls are a dramatic canvas of white, boldly streaked and splashed with random violet, creating a truly unforgettable, gallery-worthy effect. Tangerine beards in the throat transition to the palest orange at the tips, all set off by ruffled, serrated edges and a slight spicy fragrance. Bred from Cold Fusion X Center Ice, Creative Confusion is a collector-grade addition for those seeking a dynamic, conversation-starting centerpiece in the garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
