Creating Havoc

‘Creating Havoc’ (Lamoyne Hedgecock, R. 2020) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, painterly color play and sculptural form. Reaching 37" (94 cm) and blooming midseason, this hybridizer’s standout features medium brown standards infused with a dramatic red-purple at the midrib, while the fluted falls echo the brown tones, accented by vivid yellow streaks at the haft. Dark gold beards and ruffled petals add to its charismatic, show garden quality. A musky fragrance enhances its sensory appeal. Bred from ‘Epicenter’ X ‘Wintry Sky’, ‘Creating Havoc’ is a pedigree-worthy, conversation-starting addition to any iris collection. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
