County Cork

County Cork (Schreiner, 2006) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) with a midseason bloom. This variety features a refined lime yellow (RHS 1C) self, complemented by yellow beards in the throat and a subtle lime hue at the end. Bred from (Starlight Express x Salmon Band) crossed with Magical Encounter, County Cork was introduced by Schreiner in 2007 and has earned both an Honorable Mention (2009) and an Award of Merit (2011).
