Common Thread

Common Thread (Thomas Johnson, 2012) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) with early midseason bloom. This variety features crisp white standards accented by lavender blue plicata-stitched edges and medium blue style arms. The falls are pure white, precisely edged in lavender blue plicata, complemented by beards of lavender tipped with white. Lightly fragrant, Common Thread is the result of a cross between Ink Patterns and a Crowned Heads x Blackberry Tease seedling.
