Cloudless Sunrise

Cloudless Sunrise (O. David Niswonger, 1983) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm), introduced by Cape Iris in 1984. This early midseason bloomer features elegant white standards with a subtle apricot streak along the midrib, complemented by lightly ruffled falls in a soft peachy apricot hue and a vivid tangerine beard. Bred from Coral Strand x Marmalade Skies, Cloudless Sunrise received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 1988. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
