Circus Circus

Circus Circus (Sutton, 1997) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. This award-winning variety, honored with an Honorable Mention in 1999 and an Award of Merit in 2003, features early to late season blooms. The standards display a refined light lilac (RHS 76C) with darker veining, complemented by white to light orchid style arms. The falls are crisp white, accentuated by bold violet (83B) veining and edging, and finished with vivid violet beards. Circus Circus is noted for its slight spicy fragrance and elegant color contrast. Hybridized by George Sutton, its parentage includes Momentum and select seedlings, ensuring robust garden performance and unique visual appeal.
