Cherished Friendship (Ben Hager, deceased, by Sidney DuBose, R. 2000) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), introduced by Cooley in 2000. This early to midseason bloomer features elegant rose purple standards and style arms, with falls of rose purple edged in a deeper tone and a lighter bluish rose halo around a vibrant yellow beard. The blooms offer a subtle spicy sweet fragrance. Bred from 'Silverado' x 'Tinted Crystal', Cherished Friendship brings refined color contrasts and a memorable presence to the garden.
