Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, Chenille features pinkish white standards subtly shaded with bishop’s violet at the base, complemented by creamy style arms and a lavender lip. The falls transition from oyster white to marguerite yellow, shading to a delicate flesh tone at the shoulders, while bold Indian orange beards add a vivid accent. Noteworthy for its very large, thick blooms and impressive garden presence, Chenille is a field-stopping, exhibition-grade iris with a pedigree from Opposing Forces x Roaring Twenties.
