Center Ice

Center Ice (Joseph Ghio, 2009) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its crisp, high-contrast color palette and refined form. Reaching 32" (81 cm) and blooming very early to early in the season, this cultivar features luminous white standards with a subtle blue-white haze at the edges, complemented by pristine white style arms. The falls are a clean white, dramatically edged with a bold rosy violet band, while the beards are cream, tipped in white for a polished finish. With its gallery-worthy presence and pedigree-worthy lineage, Center Ice is a medal-winning, exhibition-grade iris—earning both Honorable Mention (2012) and Award of Merit (2014). A true garden showpiece, it brings a sophisticated, statement-making flair to any landscape. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
