Centennial Celebration

Centennial Celebration (Diana Ford, 2019) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm) with early bloom. This award-winning variety features elegant white standards with yellow veining and edges, brushed with medium yellow at the midribs. The style arms are white with yellow highlights. Falls are a rich magenta-maroon, lighter at the base, with a medium yellow blaze that fades to white, accented by red-violet lines and a pale band around the edges that shifts from white-lavender to pale yellow, finished with a fine red-violet wire edge. The beards are yellow tipped with orange, deepening in the throat, and the blooms offer a slight sweet fragrance. Centennial Celebration is a proven rebloomer in California (USDA Zones 9, 10a). Hybridized from 'Like A Rainbow' x 'Core Values', it was introduced by Ford Iris in 2021 and has received the Bearded Centennial Seedling Competition Award (2019) and an Honorable Mention (2023).
