Carnival Clown

Carnival Clown (Thomas Johnson, 2018) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming in the late season. This variety features elegant white standards with a central lemon-yellow infusion and light yellow to white style arms. The falls display a crisp white ground with dramatic violet-blue striations radiating from the beards, transitioning to near white below the beard, accented by lemon tones on the hafts and a yellow edge. Lemon-colored beards and a spicy fragrance add further appeal. Bred from Cosmic Melody X unknown, Carnival Clown received an Honorable Mention in 2023. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
