Cara

Cara (Donald Spoon, 2011) is a vibrant, reblooming SDB iris that brings a dynamic burst of color to the early to midseason garden. Standing at 10" (25 cm), Cara features intense pink-orange standards and equally vivid orange style arms and falls, all accented by a lighter halo around solid red-orange (RHS 41A) beards. Its ruffled form and saturated hues create a gallery-worthy, eye-catching presence that elevates any border or collector’s bed. With a pedigree from Marksman X seedling 2000B-306A (Autumn Orange x Autumn Tangerine), Cara is a field-stopping, color-forward bloom—perfect for those seeking a memorable, exhibition-grade addition to their garden.
