Captain Crunch

Captain Crunch is a tall bearded iris introduced by Paul Black in 2002, offered here from Amethyst Creek Farm. This midseason bloomer reaches 34" (86 cm) and features a sophisticated color blend: standards are peach pink at the center, softly transitioning to gold at the edges with gold texture veining, complemented by peach apricot style arms and a pink center. The falls are white with fine yellow veining, highlighted by peach amber hafts and a narrow gold marginal band, while the petal reverse shows a peach hue. Vibrant tangerine beards and lightly ruffled petals add to its appeal, and a slight sweet fragrance enhances the garden experience.
