Candy Club

Candy Club (Lesley Painter, 2005) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35-36" (89-91 cm) and blooming in the late midseason. This variety features mauve pink and yellow cream standards, gold and mauve style arms, and falls with bold raspberry plicata markings over a white ground, accented by violet dots and a more solid raspberry edge. Slightly yellow shoulders lend a red hue to the dots, with occasional center striping for added interest. The ruffled blooms are finished with white beards tipped in gold and offer a slight sweet, spicy fragrance. Notably, Candy Club has demonstrated reblooming performance in California (USDA Zone 9). Parentage: 'Jazzed Up' X 'New Leaf'. Introduced by Napa Country in 2006. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
