Burst Of Glory

Burst Of Glory (Leonard and Kathie Jedlicka, 2007) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded Iris that lives up to its name with a radiant, painterly display. Towering at 40" (102 cm), this early midseason standout features luminous, vibrant yellow standards and sculptural yellow style arms with serrated crests. The falls are a dramatic canvas: a bold yellow sunburst stretches more than halfway down, melting into deep maroon-red at the base and sides, accented by red and yellow striping on the hafts and a yellow underside. The beards transition from dark orange in the throat to orange and finally yellow at the tips, while ruffled petals and a subtle sweet fragrance add refined detail. With its pedigree from 'Starship Enterprise' X 'Terryton' and recognition as a Blue J Iris in 2008, Burst Of Glory is a collector-grade, conversation-starting centerpiece—perfect for those seeking a vivid, unforgettable addition to their garden.
