Buff Bruiser

Buff Bruiser (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2019) is a truly extraordinary SDB iris, standing at 14" (36 cm) and making an early-season debut with a painterly, gallery-worthy presence. Its standards glow with a creamy base infused with warm buff, while the style arms are cream with a luminous lemon crest and a hint of violet on the stigma. The falls are a visual masterpiece: cream ground veined with blush rose at the haft and center, transitioning to rich brown at the shoulder, and blending blush rose and brown across the petals. The beards are dynamic—carmine in the throat and middle, fading to cream at the ends with carmine tips—creating a vivid, unforgettable focal point. Bred from 'Tweety Bird' X unknown, Buff Bruiser is a collector-grade, color-forward bloom that brings a bold, memorable impact to any garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
