Buckskin Cowgirl

Buckskin Cowgirl (Leonard and Kathie Jedlicka, R. 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 32-33" (81-83 cm) and blooming in the early midseason. This luminata variety features buckskin-toned standards with a faint purplish cast, purple veining on the rib, and narrow, frilled bright yellow rims. The style arms are two-tone yellow. Falls are white beside the beards, transitioning to dark reddish purple with white veining radiating from the center, finished with a narrow, bright yellow frilled rim and a semi-flaring form. Beards are bright orange in the throat, deep yellow in the middle, and light yellow-white at the ends. Buckskin Cowgirl offers a slight sweet fragrance.
