Bronze Warrior

Bronze Warrior (Frederick Kerr, 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm) with a midseason bloom. This variety features terracotta orange standards (RHS 173B) deepening toward the base, complemented by Tuscan yellow style arms and terracotta hafts. The falls display a vibrant orange (24C) ground, overlaid with magnolia purple (70C) and heavily veined in imperial purple (77A), finished with a distinct 1/2" orange edge. Beards are a bold Indian orange (32A) with a small violet (93C) blaze at the tip. Bronze Warrior offers a slight sweet fragrance and is a cross between American Maid and Under the Tuscan Sun.
