Bright Spirit

Bright Spirit (Margie Robinson, R. 1980) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm) with midseason bloom. This variety features beautifully proportioned, ruffled, and laced blooms in a bright light lemon yellow self, accented by a fine picotee edging on all petals and a matching self beard. Noted for its vibrant color that never sun fades, Bright Spirit is vigorous and increases well in the garden. Hybridized from 'Kimberlina' and ('Sapphire Hills' x 'Miss Illini'), it received an Honorable Mention in 1984. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
