Break My Heart

Break My Heart (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming midseason to late. This variety features elegant white standards with a soft lemon center and subtle lemon veining, complemented by light yellow style arms. The falls are a deep, rich red-violet, edged first with a delicate lavender band and then a striking gold band. Tangerine beards glow in the throat and middle, finishing with violet tips. Noted for its sweet fragrance, Break My Heart is a sibling to Read My Mind and was awarded an Honorable Mention in 2023. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Awards: Honorable Mention
