Bravery

Bravery (Joseph Ghio, 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), introduced in 2012. This early midseason bloomer features elegant blue-white standards and velvety blue-purple falls with a dramatic blackish cast, accentuated by a wide, ruffled blue-white band. Vibrant tangerine beards add a vivid contrast. Bred from a Dazzle pod parent sibling crossed with Accessible, Bravery has earned both the Honorable Mention (2014) and Award of Merit (2016) from the American Iris Society.
