This award-winning variety features light creamy yellow standards with purple midrib shading and creamy yellow style arms accented by a purple base. The falls are a soft lavender with a lighter rim, complemented by beards that are white at the end, mustard in the midsection, and yellow in the throat. Notably ruffled and possessing a pronounced sweet fragrance, Boysenberry Buttercup is a standout in any garden. Its distinguished parentage includes Best Bet and notable seedlings, and it has earned both the Honorable Mention (1999) and Award of Merit (2001) from the American Iris Society.
