Bottled Sunshine

Bottled Sunshine (Hooker Nichols, 1994) is an award-winning intermediate bearded iris introduced by Hillcrest in 1995. This reblooming variety reaches 22" (56 cm) and offers a long bloom season from early midseason to very late. Its standards are a rich aureolin yellow, while the falls are crisp white edged and marked with deeper aureolin, beautifully framing the gold beards. The ruffled blooms are notable for their pronounced fragrance. Bred from Highborn Kinsman x Joyce Terry, Bottled Sunshine has received multiple honors, including the Honorable Mention (1997), Award of Merit (2001), Sass Medal (2003), Ben Hager Cup (2014), and Presidents Cup (2014).
