Bold Vision

Bold Vision (Frederick Kerr, 1999) is a tall bearded iris reaching 29" (74 cm), blooming from early to late season. This award-winning variety features dark yellow standards and falls, with the falls displaying a lighter area around a prominent gold beard and a wide, ruffled brownish red band. The blooms are notably flared and ruffled, creating a vibrant and dynamic garden presence. Bred from Citoyen X seedling #9111A and a sibling to Dear Jean, Bold Vision was introduced by Rainbow Acres in 2000 and has received both the Honorable Mention (2002) and Award of Merit (2006) from the American Iris Society.
