Bold Pattern

Bold Pattern (Michael Sutton, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), blooming midseason to late. This award-winning variety features mimosa yellow standards and style arms, with violet falls intricately veined in pale violet. The falls display grey-red shoulders and a secondary band, accented by a ¼" Chinese yellow edge and a fine ruby red wire rim. The beards are yellow, with violet-based hairs and yellow tips. Bold Pattern is ruffled and offers a slight sweet fragrance. Parentage: Twin Citie X Bandwidth. Honored with an Honorable Mention in 2017 and an Award of Merit in 2021.
