Blushing Grapes

Blushing Grapes (Lynda Miller, 2014) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm), blooming early to midseason. This award-winning variety features medium purple standards with lighter striping into the midrib and matching style arms. The falls display a light coral-pink ground, dramatically edged with a deep purple border that dots toward the center. Beards are white-based with burnt tangerine tips, and the blooms offer a subtle musky fragrance. Bred from Musician X Deep Currents, Blushing Grapes received an Honorable Mention in 2018 and an Award of Merit in 2022. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
