Blueberry Tart

Blueberry Tart (Chuck Chapman, 2002) is a reblooming Standard Dwarf Bearded iris reaching 11" (28 cm) in height, offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. This award-winning variety features blue standards with a dark violet-red flush near the base and blue style arms. The falls display a unique reddish tan hue with a brownish-red central spot that fades to a blue edge, complemented by a short blue spear at the end of a dark blue beard. Its tailored, flared form and early bloom with reliable rebloom make it a standout in the garden. Blueberry Tart is a cross between Forever Blue and What Again, and has received both the Honorable Mention (2005) and Award of Merit (2008) from the American Iris Society.
