Blueberry Boat

Blueberry Boat (Bruce Filardi, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming in the late midseason. This variety features light blue standards and style arms with a darker flush, complemented by falls in a deep, almost black blueberry-violet, accented by a narrow band of brighter violet and a pencil-thin dark edge. The white area beside the beards is striped with dark violet, while the beards themselves are based in light blue-lavender with muted gold tips. Precisely ruffled petals and a pronounced spicy fragrance add to its appeal. Bred from Anasazi x Love Actually, Blueberry Boat was introduced internationally in 2017.
