Blue Oasis

‘Blue Oasis’ (Richard Tasco, 2015) is a reblooming Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris reaching 15" (38 cm), introduced by Superstition Gardens. This early midseason variety features cold white standards with a light chartreuse wash, which intensifies in cooler, damp weather. The style arms are a delicate powder blue with a darker ridge, while the falls open with a subtle light blue cast and display prominent chartreuse yellow veining near the cornflower blue beards, which are tipped lighter at the ends. Lightly ruffled petals and a sweet fragrance add to its appeal. ‘Blue Oasis’ has demonstrated reliable rebloom in multiple regions, including CA, MT, TX, and WI, and is suitable for USDA Zones 4b, 8a, and 9.
