Blonde in Denim

Blonde in Denim (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2018) is a standout SDB iris introduced by hybridizer Elizabeth Rieniets. Reaching 10" (25 cm) in height, this midseason bloomer features cerulean blue standards and lavender-blue style arms with dark blue accents. The falls display a light lavender-blue ground with vivid goldenrod lines parallel to the beards, and a lower petal that transitions to a solid, vibrant goldenrod near the edge. The beards are orange in the throat, shifting to cobalt blue at the middle and end. Blonde in Denim is noted for its pronounced sweet and spicy fragrance.
