Blast (Ben Hager, 1992) is a vibrant Intermediate Bearded iris reaching 21" (53 cm) and blooming in the late midseason. This variety features luminous bright apricot orange standards contrasted by vivid magenta falls, accented with fiery tangerine beards. Bred from Shenanigan and a select seedling cross, Blast is recognized for its bold color combination and garden presence.
