Blanket of Snow

Blanket of Snow (Thomas Johnson, 2006) is a tall bearded iris reaching 41" (104 cm) and blooming from midseason to late. This elegant variety features milk white standards touched with gold at the base and falls with subtle gold haft veining deep in the heart. The beards are a vibrant yellow-orange, and the blooms are enhanced by a sweet fragrance. Bred from Fundamental X Fjord, Blanket of Snow is a refined addition to any garden, introduced by Mid-America in 2006. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
