Bit Of Pink

‘Bit Of Pink’ (Paul Black, 2022) is a charming miniature dwarf bearded iris (MDB) offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. This midseason bloomer reaches 7.5" (19 cm) and features standards in a soft mid pink-mauve, delicately veined with fine mauve lines. The style arms are a gentle light pink, while the falls display a buff pink haft with an icy white area around the beard, blending into mid pink-mauve. The beards are particularly eye-catching, showing a gradient from mid greyed tangerine in the throat to mid tan, ending in mid lavender with white tips. ‘Bit Of Pink’ is noted for its pronounced sweet fragrance. Bred from Seedling W234G, a sibling to ‘Inclination’, crossed with Seedling X314A (‘Peppito’ x ‘Breathtaking’), this introduction from Mid-America (2022) was awarded an Honorable Mention in 2024.
