Bingo Bango Bongo

Bingo Bango Bongo (Tom Burseen, 2002) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), blooming early to midseason. This variety features dark aster violet standards and style arms (RHS 87B), with slightly deeper violet falls (87A) accented by a purple midrib. The ruffled blooms are enhanced by vibrant tangerine orange beards tipped with light pink and a red throat, and emit a spicy fragrance. Bred from Cowabunga, Mesmerizer, Révolution, and Stingray, Bingo Bango Bongo was recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2007. Available from Amethyst Creek Farm.
