Big Flirt

Big Flirt (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its dynamic color play and sophisticated form. Reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features luminous flesh pink standards edged lighter, accented by purple veining at the midrib, and matching flesh pink style arms. The falls are a bold, deep grape-purple, highlighted by a dramatic white spray around the beard and a light lavender band, creating a vivid, high-contrast effect. The beard itself is a painterly blend—white at the base, transitioning to tangerine tips and lavender ends. With a slight fragrance and a pedigree from 'Sergey' x 'Que Sera Sera', Big Flirt is a show garden quality, Honorable Mention-winning iris that brings a gallery-worthy, conversation-starting presence to any landscape. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant Awards: Honorable Mention
