Beurre Sal

Beurre Salé (Richard Cayeux, 2020) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its luminous, pure white standards and pristine white falls, dramatically infused with a vivid yellow glow intensifying around the bold orange beard. A striking orange median line extends from the beard’s end to the heart of each petal, creating a painterly, graphic effect that is both memorable and gallery-worthy. Reaching 31.5" (80 cm) and blooming early in the season, Beurre Salé is a collector-grade introduction from the celebrated cross of Quandary X Douce Rêverie. This iris is a show garden centerpiece, perfect for those seeking a refined, high-impact bloom with undeniable presence. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
