Bethany Claire (Lloyd Zurbrigg, 1984) is a tall bearded iris reaching 40" (102 cm), introduced by Avonbank Gardens in 1985. This reblooming variety offers midseason blooms with a repeat performance in October (Virginia). Its wisteria blue standards and falls (HCC 640/1) are complemented by a delicate white area around the white beard, with a touch of tangerine in the throat. Bred from Victoria Falls crossed with (Sister Helen x Rime Frost), Bethany Claire is a refined addition to any iris collection, appreciated for its elegant color and reliable reblooming habit.
