Before The Storm

‘Before The Storm’ (Sterling Innerst, 1988) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) with a dramatic, deep black coloration and a black beard tipped bronze. This midseason bloomer offers a slight fragrance and is the result of a cross between ‘Superstition’ and ‘Ravens Roost’. Highly decorated, ‘Before The Storm’ has received numerous accolades, including the American Dykes Medal (1996), Wister Medal (1995), Presidents Cup (1995), Award of Merit (1993), and multiple High Commendations.
