Barbeque

Barbeque (Tom Burseen, 2021) is a truly extraordinary Tall Bearded iris, celebrated for its dynamic color play and sculptural form. Early to midseason blooms rise to 35" (89 cm), showcasing golden brown standards and chrysanthemum crimson style arms softly veiled in gold. The falls are a dramatic blend of glowing rose-red, richly overlaid with deep plum-purple that intensifies to near-black at the edges, all finely edged in gold-brown for a couture-worthy finish. Plush yellow ochre beards, tipped with plum pompoms and delicate golden-brown lace, add artisan detail. Ruffled and laced petals, paired with a slight sweet fragrance, make Barbeque a gallery-worthy, collector-grade centerpiece—perfect for those seeking a bold, memorable addition to their garden.
