Backdraft

Backdraft (Hugh Stout, 2009) is a tall bearded iris introduced in 2010, offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. This award-winning variety reaches 38" (97 cm) and blooms in midseason. Its standards display a warm peach-pink hue infused with red and edged in gold, complemented by peach-pink style arms. The falls are a rich garnet, highlighted by a delicate 1/8" pink edge and a small white area on the hafts. Vibrant orange-red beards and a slight fragrance add further appeal.
