Autumn Rain

‘Autumn Rain’ (Michael Sutton, 2007) is a tall bearded iris reaching 33" (97 cm), introduced by Sutton in 2008. This late midseason bloomer is notable for its reblooming habit, with performance reported in California, Montana, and Wisconsin (USDA Zones 4b, 8, 9). The blooms display a rich, dark violet (RHS 86A) self, complemented by ice white beards with a touch of pale yellow in the throat. ‘Autumn Rain’ is also distinguished by its pronounced sweet fragrance.
