Asteroid Belt

Asteroid Belt (Jim Hedgecock, 2019) is a tall bearded iris reaching 32" (81 cm) and blooming in midseason. This dramatic variety features black standards with random white specks on the underside, black style arms with white speckling, and black falls densely patterned with white specks. The center of the falls is yellow, heavily speckled with black, creating a bold contrast. Dark gold beards are tipped in black, transitioning to dark gold in the throat.
