Artifacto

Artifacto (Tom Burseen, 2017) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), notable for its very early to midseason bloom. This variety features standards in pale wisteria blue with violet-blue washed edges and a deeper tone at the base. The style arms echo the pale wisteria blue, while the falls display a pale lobelia blue with narrow hyacinth blue-washed edges. The beards are a unique blend, showing Saturn red in the throat, transitioning to light yellow in the middle, and finishing with pale blue at the ends. Artifacto is ruffled and emits a pronounced sweet fragrance. Bred from 'Power Down' crossed with a select seedling, Artifacto is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
