'Arctic Express' (Joseph Gatty by Keith Keppel, 1995) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), introduced by Keppel in 1996. This early midseason bloomer features elegantly ruffled, pure white petals with beards of white, pale lemon in the throat, and orange-yellow tips, creating a crisp, luminous effect in the garden. Noted for its reblooming capability in California (USDA Zones 8, 9), 'Arctic Express' is the result of a cross between 'Christmas' and 'Ocean Pacific'.
