Aliens Of The Galaxy (Paul Black, 2019) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), blooming from late to very late in the season. This variety features white standards with a mid lemon yellow center, warm white style arms, and crests edged in light yellow. The falls display a mid yellow center lined with light brown, blending into a dramatic dark red-purple, accented by a narrow light rose-violet band. Marigold beards and a slight musky fragrance add to its appeal. Bred from Starship Enterprise X seedling T249D (unknown x Jazz Band), this iris was introduced by Mid-America in 2019 and received an Honorable Mention in 2021. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
