Airy Fairy Flower

Airy Fairy Flower (Paul Black, 2021) is a gallery-worthy tall bearded iris that brings a refined, painterly touch to any garden. Standing at 23" (58 cm), this early to late season bloomer features luminous white standards boldly edged with a wide, mid violet-blue plicata band and rib. The style arms echo this mid violet-blue, fading to a paler edge for a sophisticated gradient effect. Pristine white falls are intricately stitched and lined with dark plum at the haft, finished with a mid violet-blue wire plicata stitched rim for a high-contrast, pattern-forward look. White beards add a crisp accent, completing this memorable and visually arresting bloom. Bred from a sibling cross of 'Stylish Choice' and 'Meditation Garden,' Airy Fairy Flower was introduced by Mid-America in 2021 and honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2024. A true collector-grade iris for the discerning gardener, available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Awards: Honorable Mention
