Achy Breaky Heart (George Sutton, R. 2005) is a tall bearded iris introduced in 2006 by George Sutton, recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2008. This reblooming variety reaches 36" (91 cm) and flowers in the late midseason, with additional rebloom reported in California (USDA Zone 9). The blooms feature cream standards infused with pale pink, creamy pink style arms, and falls of white overlaid and veined in bluebird blue (RHS 94B/C). Accented by red-orange beards tipped in white, the ruffled flowers offer a slight sweet fragrance. Parentage: H-179: ('Mesmerizer' x 'Sweet Musette') X 'Super Dancer'.
