Abiqua Falls

Abiqua Falls (Schreiner, 2003) is a tall bearded iris reaching 39" (99 cm), introduced by renowned hybridizer Schreiner. This midseason bloomer features heavily ruffled, light blue (RHS 93D) petals with a harmonious self-coloration. The beards are yellow, transitioning to blue at the tips, adding a refined accent to the flower’s cool palette. Bred from Cascade Springs x Monet’s Blue, Abiqua Falls has been recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2005 and an Award of Merit in 2007. This iris is a field-grown variety offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. No reblooming or fragrance is noted in the official description.
