Abbondanza

Abbondanza (Joseph Ghio, 2002) is a commanding tall bearded iris that lives up to its name with a radiant, color-forward display. Reaching an impressive 40" (102 cm), this early to late bloomer features luminous mango gold standards infused with pink at the center and base, while the falls echo the mango gold and are dramatically accented by a heart and shoulders washed in pink. Vivid tangerine beards add a bold, painterly finish. With its gallery-worthy presence and memorable color harmony, Abbondanza is a show garden quality iris that earned an Honorable Mention in 2005.
